Hi Jeff1. Welcome, and great question. Yes, there is *zero* content in the new testament that points to an earthly resurrection, and as has been pointed out, ALL Christians are anointed and both the 144,000 and great crowd are in heaven. As for old testament scriptures that seem to mention a paradise Earth, please see this thread:

Paradise Earth
by Jeff1 injust recently i was looking at a topic on jwfacts entitled 'paradise on earth forever.
' from the research paul did on this topic he mentioned that there is no biblical evidence of an earthly resurrection.
i haven't heard this before but wanted to get some thoughts on this topic.

Shaking hands when reinstated
by Tobyjones262 inanyone remember when someone was reinstated after the announcement they congregation would shake hands and hug?
then they announced a new rule that this was inappropriate to clap or hug, shake hands, that the newly reinstated was only doing what they should bla bla bla.
.

there may well be spontaneous, dignified applause
Spontaneous? That's a laugh. A JW reads this as:
"Before we weren't allowed to clap. Now we are allowed to clap."
There is no gray area, because a good JW isn't capable of contemplating gray areas.

isn't that Daniel prophecy something that was to have an international, global fulfillment
Yes, that's why they said the very non-committal 'it would not be surprising if it spread worldwide'.

Confidential
by john.prestor ini wanted to share a short story from my time studying that congregation (not studying with) where the elder told me 5 years to armageddon i thought some posters might enjoy, little mid-week chuckle that's what i'm going for here.. so this one elder in particular came across like he saw himself as a 'spiritual giant' (weird term cause i thought the nephilim caused all the problems before the flood but thats how jws talk about 'spiritual' people so hey, when in rome).
it just came across in how he held himself and the kinda cold, superior way he looked at you... well, until one sunday at least.. so i came into the hall for the sunday service and i saw him strutting around by the 'information board' (not bulletin board, god forbid) with a manilla folder he'd scrawled confidential across enormously in black sharpy.
he posted a couple letters and then strut into the sanctuary, where he got on stage to read for the watchtower study.

strutting around . . . with a manilla folder he'd scrawled CONFIDENTIAL across enormously in black sharpy
Lol, probably lingering there hoping someone would notice the word he DELIBERATELY put on the folder. It gave him some pathetic importance to be in a secret treehouse club.

Okay, you're technically right smiddy3. They thought the 6,000 years (later adjusted to 1975) had already ended and therefore they were IN the 1,000 year reign. So the resurrection would be proof of that. It was still a false prophecy though, and was directly related to the Beth Sarim scam.

1925.
That's the highlight of this book and its'accompanying talk and why it exists.
It's funny, the publications have brazenly put this book on display as a highlight of our precious "spiritual heritage", yet none of the r&f stop to think that the very title is an unfulfilled false prophecy! And if they excuse it by saying, 'well, it's talking about those who will be resurrected', well they're wrong. This book was about the 'clear evidence' that the end was coming in 1925, and that therefore they would never have to die at all.
Nice find, I hope you are able to use it for reverse witnessing, because that could be more valuable than an unofficial PDF that has likely been altered with "apostate lies".

"Dear, let's make love." -Brother Districtoverbear
"Yes, lets." -Mrs. DistrictoverbearWouldn't it be better for them to say, "Mate, let us engage in intercourse, thereby fulfilling the marital due." So much more proper 😜

Another good character from the novels is Zare Leonis. I went into depth on how this character's circumstances as well as the Empire as a whole paralleled JW-dom in the post below:

I like Qui Gon Jinn because he relates to myself and other PIMO JWs, i.e. he was looked down on by the jedi council because he thought outside the box and wasn't dogmatic, seemingly more spiritual than religious if you will.
I also love Chirrut Imwe from Rogue One. I love how he isn't an overt force user, yet he does undoubtedly tap into it to augment his blindness, and I also like his dry sense of humor and banter with his friend Baze Malbus.
